Vanyamore of Mirkwood

Born in a secluded Elf enclave in Mirkwood, her parents were overprotective, fearing that the evil in the world might harm their precious daughter. They had lost a son years earlier who choose to fight rather than prepare himself to leave for the grey havens.
Mourning the downfall of the Elves, the parents were eager to leave Mirkwood and Middle Earth as soon as possible but delayed to try and convince their son to come with them.
Vanyamore grew up protected and loved, however, lonely with the neverending need for knowledge.

Shortly after she turned 97, a stranger found its way into the enclave. Hadubrand of Rohan. She soon became fond of him as she had never seen a man before in her life. He fascinated her. His way of talking, the clothes he wore, his spirit and life-affirming way. So different from what she had known before.
What changed her life forever, was when one day, she was taking a walk in the woods, a pack of wolves attacked and this very Hadubrand saved her. However, soon afterwards his business in Mirkwood was done, and he left.
On Vanyamore, however, he had a lasting effect. Her curiosity grew stronger. She wanted to know more of these people, where and how they live, their habits and traditions. And so, one lovely morning she packed her stuff and left for Rivendell, where she hoped to find her older brother Bargon, who had chosen to stay and fight. Her parents never forgave her and left to Mirkwood soon after. She never saw them again.

After a long and bearing travel to Rivendell, she found the brother, whom she had never met as he had left before her birth. He was delighted to see her for she had chosen his way and not the way her parents sought best. He took her under his care and taught her all he knew. For he was a guardian and his sister became one too.

She stayed in Rivendell for a while and read all that she could find, however, soon the curiosity took over again and she wanted to leave, wanted to experience all that she had read about. And maybe, deep within, she hoped to meet Hadubrand again. For he had left such a deep impact in her life and she wanted to thank him.

So if you see her wander around Middle Earth, greet her friendly and she will reward you. Should you ever meet Hadubrand Bernulfson tell him that there is a little Elf out there looking for him.
