http://www.lotro-europe.com/
- The homepage. I'm sure everyone is familiar with this.

http://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Main_Page
- Lotro-wiki. Really good basic knowledge base.

http://lotro.mmodb.com/
- MMODB. Especially useful quest information.

http://www.mehq.net/dynmap/index.php
- Dynamic map. Not fully up-to-date, still very useful when searching NPC's and other things like that.

http://lotro.allakhazam.com/db/map.html?area=0
- Mob mapping. Again not fully up-to-date, but helps with slayer deeds and that sort of stuff.

http://www.thebrasse.com/maps/LOTRO
- Beautiful hand drawn maps of smaller areas.

http://lotro-rares.bizhat.com/
- Really specific info of the rare crafting components. Not as vital since the introduction of the shards, but still.

http://lorebook.lotro.com/wiki/Lorebook_home
- Lorebook for item and recipe information.

http://www.lotrolinks.com/level45-quest.htm
- The level 45 class quest item info.

I think there are still too many people in LOTRO who don't know these basic rules...

Ofcourse not in our kinship. Twisted Evil

There are some really good stuff on the yankee forum, especially the stickied threads are usually worth looking at. They take the research to almost a scientific level.

Here's my favorite look-up site for quest details. It is very thoroughly written and most (if not too!) detailed and contains maps with all required locations marked. I found almost every quest there by now and almost everything was correct, so to me it's a great site to query when I am stuck in a quest.

Here's the link:

http://www.lotroquests.com/

You can search it for NPC names, locations, quest names or whatever part of it, and it will show you what's stored for your request in their database.

Is there any external program that allows for viewing all ingame models? In WoW there was something called 'Model Viewer'.
I'm toying with an idea of resurrecting (in far future) a magazine me and my friends had (you can check it at www.azerothianweekly.com).
But, without such a program, it's a bit pointless.

Very interesting journal Very Happy
I've been wandering through Azeroth for more than 2 years and never saw it.

Sorry but I know nothing about external programs.
Perhaps Mick can help you when he'll be back.
He knows hell lot of LOTRO.

I haven't come across anything like this. Very interesting idea though.

Shame, I'll keep searching. And Thopor - you've been playing on wrong servers Smile There was a time we were quite popular, with Blizzard posting a link on their mainsite week after week... Good old times... Wink

Don't know if people are familiar with this, but was new to me. No server population info, but subscription info on several mmorpgs.

The numbers of Lotro were somewhat familiar to me, as were numbers of some others too.

The numbers of Lotro aren´t that bad really, concerning how many of these games exist out there and how new the game still is, but somehow I feel, that Codemasters might´ve expected a bit more.

We had a talk in-game last night about the possible expansion pack (whenever that might come out), I strongly feel that it will be the crossroads for this game, it will definately determine where the game will go...will it grow or will it disappear to the abysses of no return.
